Wildcat Wilderness

Wildcat Wilderness is your community space where you can explore nature and the wildlife, play or relax in its peacefulness, learn new outdoor skills or crafts, share and enjoy the space with other local people of all ages, cultures, faiths and abilities.

We are only open on certain days not all the time as we are used by local schools and other community groups. We generally have a weekly volunteering day every Thursday afternoon 12-3pm and Friday 10-1.30, weekend volunteering from the spring onwards, an activity/event some weekends plus additional activities during the school holidays.

We are quite difficult to find.

We are acessible via the gate of the Long Meadow allotments, the entrance to which next to 53 River View Park Road. To gain entry you will need to call so we can let you in. There will be a sign and number on the gate to gain entry.

We are a 10 minute walk from Catford Station just off Catford Hill.

Please note that there is no entrance from the other side of the Pool River.
